Lymphatic Drainage
Whether you have lymphedema, survived cancer, are recovering from surgery, have an autoimmune condition, and any other conditions or want to stimulate your body's innate processes, Manual Lymphatic Drainage can have profound effects. It is not recommended that you come after a big meal. The deep abdominal work that I do can be uncomfortable after eating. Also, abdominal work cannot be performed during your menstrual cycle.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

A powerful, full body treatment that gently and rhythmically encourages the natural movement of lymph across the body, that reduces swelling and congestion, stimulates the healing process, and enhances immune system function. Manual Lymphatic Drainage is used to treat Lymphedema, and post-surgical: swelling, waste removal, and minimizing scar tissue formation. It is also used to treat symptoms of auto-immune diseases, head and neck congestion, migraines, Lyme disease, orthopedic injury (sprains and strains), dermatological issues (acne, cellulite), pregnancy induced swelling, and neurodegenerative diseases.
This treatment includes manual lymphatic drainage of the abdomen and breast tissue. However, if there are areas you would like me to avoid, please let me know. Add on a Castor Oil Pack to use during your treatment and/or take home.

Swelling, bruising and discomfort usually follow any type of surgical procedure. While these side effects are a normal part of the healing process, they often disrupt the lymphatic system and can lead to secondary complications (excessive swelling, persistent pain, puffiness, hardened lumps/bumps, and thickened skin). Manual lymphatic drainage can reduce the risk of these complications, shorten recovery time, and help you get the best possible results from your surgery.
